Reading In third grade at Longview Elementary, we use SRA Imagine It! for our reading curriculum. At this time we are learning about the theme of Animals and Their Habitat. We are currently reading the story, "One Small Place in a Tree" by Barbara Brenner. We have several questions we will be thinking and learning about in this unit. How are certain changes in a habitat good for some animals but not for others? How might a tree be a home to many kinds of animals? Our concept board has the theme of Animals and Their Habitat and we are exploring Expository Text, among others.
